Stage 2 Water Restrictions
Volente Hills is part of WTC MUD 1 which has a different water policy than the city of Austin. Effective immediately water is restricted to twice a week with the following schedule.
EVEN NUMBERED HOMES - Thu and Sun before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m.
ODD NUMBERED HOMES - Wed and Sat before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m.
Residents are permitted to water with a handheld hose (equipped with a positive pistol grip nozzle or other device that automatically shuts off water flow when the hose is not being used) or handheld buckets at any time and on any day. Violation of the mandatory restrictions is a fineable offense. Upon first violation you will receive notice via a door hanger tag. Second and subsequent violations will result in a $200 fine on your water bill.
No Issue with Fire Service for Volente Hills
Some of you may have read the article in the Community Impact paper or heard about this issue at the recent Cedar Park City council meeting. I confirmed with the City of Cedar Park Fire Department that we are not included in this disputed contract. We are part of the Williamson-Travis MUD 1 and continue to be contracted to be serviced by the City of Cedar Park.
Dogs and our Community
We have had numerous complaints of barking dogs in the early morning
and late evening hours. Dog owners, if your dog is outside and begins to
bark, please bring your dog inside. Let's be mindful of our sleeping
neighbor. Also, clean up after your dog. We realize dogs may need to
relieve themselves, but it is your responsibility to clean up after
them.
